Riding Lessons

At Whyld Equestrian we offer a range of riding lessons for all different abilities.

We have a fantastic coaching team that specialise in specific groups and areas to suit all riders needs and abilities. Please read details below carefully.

First steps and Information

If you are interested in joining WEC, please complete the form on the 'Book Now' tab, and one of our staff will contact you as soon as possible. We will start with an assessment lesson, this is to meet you, understand your experience and skills so we can pair you with a horse and coach that is the best fit for your needs. We will discuss with you in the assessment what possible availability we may have, and if it is suitable for your schedule.

Each term, lesson times and groups are re-assessed to adjust and move riders based on riders development, horse and coach suitability and availability. As you can understand all riders and horses develop at different rates and we try our best to adjust and accomodate to continue building the perfect partnerships and skill development.

Programs Offered

Private Lesson - This is a 45min one on one lesson in the Arena

Group Lesson - 1 hour lesson with 2-4 Riders in the Arena

Saddle Club - 2 Hour group session with 1 hour ride time, and 1 hour horsemanship

Enrolment

After your assessment lesson, if you wish to proceed with a termly lesson place, we will discuss available options. If you need to cancel a lesson we require 48 hours notice. There is no cancellation fee if you cancel more than 48 hours in advance. Cancelling within 48 hours will incur full lesson costs and you be required to pay in full for your lesson/ride.

Wet Weather

We ride in the rain wherever possible. In the event of heavy rain or dangerous conditions a lesson will be adjusted for horsemanship which are incredibly valuable sessions, please come to your allocated lesson time regardless of weather conditions.

Restriction's

Weight restrictions apply. Max weight to ride is 90kg

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service at any time where there is a risk of safety for either horse or rider.

Prices:

Private Lesson's

Weekday Rate: $176

Private lesson's run for 45minutes

We do Not run Private Lesson's on a Saturday

There are No lesson's run on a Sunday

Group Lesson's

Weekday Rate $159.50

Weekend Rate: $170.50

Group lessons are 2-4 riders. Lessons run for 1 hour and include

Saddle Club

Saddle club is a 2 hour group session of 2-4 riders.

This includes 1 hour of riding time, and 1 hour of horsemanship teaching you all the skills to prepare you for competitions and general horse care.

Price: $176 per person
