Our dedicated staff is a harmonious blend of talents, each member bringing unique skills to the stables to shape a well-rounded and exceptional team.
Leading the charge is Charlotte Whyld, who has a wealth of knowledge in the world of equestrian. Under her careful guidance, this powerhouse team at Whyld Equestrian creates an environment where riders not only refine their riding skills but also gain a comprehensive understanding of horse care and sportsmanship. Whether you're pursuing excellence in dressage, show jumping, eventing, or simply seeking a well-rounded equestrian education, our coaching team is dedicated to helping you reach your goals with passion, precision, and a touch of adventure.
Charlotte Whyld
Charlotte is originally from the UK where she worked mainly in the showjumping world producing and competing horses from novice through to top level. Charlotte has worked for and trained with some of the worlds best riders including William Fox Pitt, the late Tim Stockdale and Ludwig Sevennerstal just to name a few.
Since moving to Australia in 2013 Charlotte has worked hard to build a network and connections and has broadened her skill level excelling in both dressage and showjumping. Charlotte has a great understanding of the horse and rider combination and individual abilities and ambitions.
Charlotte is an EA Level 2 coach, and completed her Sports Horse Management and training degree at Nottingham Trent University, England. Charlotte is a qualified British horse society intermediate instructor – BHS
Charlotte has a beautiful warmblood, Magnus who have just started their journey together. They have a bright future in the dressage and jumping rings and we cannot wait to see what they can achieve in years to come.
We cannot forget the most important member of the team, Charlotte's beautiful Black Labrador Billy who is always by her side supporting the Whyld Equestrian Team.
Meet The Team
Ali Williams
Administation and Operations:
Ali and Charlotte have spent the last few years enjoying their love of horses together and travelling around NSW doing all things horses.
Ali has worked in school and club sport programs for the last 18 years, and joins WEC in 2024 to assist with administration and operations in the riding school.
Lucy Templeman
Stable Hand and Horsemanship:
Lucy has been loving her riding for almost 4 years now. Lucy joined the WEC staff team after a year of riding under Charlotte. Lucy especially enjoys her jumping and dressage riding, and especially looks forward to the challenger of going to competitions and gaining confidence and experience every time she goes out!
Olivia Lord
Stable Hand:
Olivia has been riding for most of their life and has a long-standing passion for horses. After selling their horses and taking a four-year break from the sport, they have recently returned to the equestrian world and are enjoying being back in the saddle. Previously focused on dressage, they developed a strong foundation in flatwork, horsemanship, and partnership with horses. Now back around the stables, they are excited to reconnect with riding, continue building their skills, and support the care and wellbeing of the horses as part of the team.
Abi Hope-Jones
Stable Hand:
Abi has been riding for 6 years and joined Whyld Equestrian at the beginning of 2024. Under Charlotte’s coaching, she has continued to build her skills and confidence, developing a strong interest in competition—particularly showjumping. Alongside her riding, Abi brings great enthusiasm to her role as a stable hand, enjoying the opportunity to contribute to the care of the horses and support the program behind the scenes. She is excited to continue progressing within Charlotte’s program and further develop her partnership and competitive goals.
