Whyld Equestrian Coaching (WEC) offers EA assessment appointments and coaching preparation with Charlotte Whyld, who holds both Skills Specific Trainer and Assessor (SSTA) and Coach Educator (CE) accreditations.
Whether you are just starting your EA coaching pathway or progressing towards your next qualification, we can help you understand the requirements, prepare for your assessments and work towards achieving your coaching qualifications.
What Can We Assess and Sign Off?
Skills Specific Trainer and Assessor (SSTA)
Charlotte can assist with assessment and competency sign-offs for the following EA modules:

Introductory Horse Management

Introductory Riding
-
Level 1 Horse Management and Riding

Level 2 Horse Management and Riding
Each course is available at Introductory, Level 1 and Level 2. You must commence at Introductory level and progress through the levels in order. Horse Management and Riding can be completed as standalone modules.
Assessments will be arranged according to your current qualification level, the competencies required and the relevant EA assessment requirements.
Coach Educator (CE)
Charlotte also holds Coach Educator accreditation and can discuss coaching pathway requirements, preparation and assessment opportunities relevant to your current stage of development.

How to Get Started
Step 1: Purchase your EA learning resources
If you are starting with the SSTA pathway, visit the EA Coaching Resource Order form and select:

Introductory Horse Management

Introductory Riding
Once you have purchased the relevant resources, you will be enrolled in the program.
Step 2: Familiarise yourself with the requirements
When your workbooks arrive, read through the material and familiarise yourself with the tasks and competencies you will need to demonstrate.
Please have your current EA workbook and any relevant assessment documentation ready before contacting us.
Step 3: Contact WEC to arrange your assessment
Email us with details of your current qualification level, the modules you need signed off and your preferred availability. We will discuss the appropriate appointment type, assessment requirements, horse arrangements and pricing before confirming your booking.

Assessment Services & Pricing
The following indicative prices apply to assessment and preparation appointments:

Individual assessment appointment (up to 1 hour): $120–$150

Extended assessment (up to 2 hours): $200–$260

Coaching preparation session (1 hour): $100–$130

Small-group assessment clinics: Price confirmed according to the format and requirements
Final pricing and appointment duration will be confirmed once we understand which competencies you need assessed. Any additional requirements, horse arrangements or applicable travel costs will be discussed before booking.
